Activities at Chewelah Peak
- Hiking: Choose your adventure with a variety of trails, ranging from moderate to steep.
- Mountain Biking: Navigate service roads and open trails for an exhilarating ride on two wheels.
- Huckleberry Picking: From mid-July to early August, this area is a prime spot for picking these beloved Northwest berries.
Once you reach the summit, soak in the panoramic views of the Colville National Forest. A restroom is available for hikers at the top—just remember to bring your own hand sanitizer.

Getting There
- Access via Flowery Trail Road, Chewelah, WA 99109
- From Chewelah, turn east onto Flowery Trail Road following signs for 49˚ North Resort.
- Drive approximately 10 miles.
- Turn right (south) at the sign for 49 Degrees North Resort.
- Continue less than a mile to a large parking lot at the end of the road.
- The resort and trailhead to the base of Chewelah Peak are just to your left.
