Located about ten miles north-northeast of Chewelah, in the Little Pend Oreille Wildlife Refuge, Bayley Lake is ideal for fly-fishing, with a catch-and-release policy. Rainbow trout are stocked, and Eastern Brook Trout may also be available. The lake’s inlet stream is closed to fishing. Public access is available with a boat launch, though motorized boats are prohibited.
