Located about 41 miles north of Chewelah along US Highway 395, Loon Lake is open from the 4th Saturday in April through October 31st. Known for kokanee fishing, the lake also boasts the state record tiger trout, caught here in 2022. Other species available include Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Brown Bullhead, Yellow Perch, Bluegill, and more.
