Sherman Creek is approximately 50 miles northwest of Chewelah. To reach the area, travel north on U.S. Highway 395 to Kettle Falls, then head west on State Route 20, which parallels much of Sherman Creek’s length. This scenic route offers access to fishing, hunting, and camping opportunities, with the creek flowing from the Kettle Range into Lake Roosevelt.
